Monday 12 - Today we did a review game with sample test questions in preparation for our Semester 1 Final Exam tomorrow. Homework: study your packet for the test.
Tuesday 13 - Today was Day 1 of our Final Exam. Students worked on as much of the test as they could, then handed them back to me at the end of the period. If you missed today, you will have to work on your test tomorrow. Homework: study for Day 2 of the test.
Wednesday 14 - Today I passed back the exams and students worked on them until they were done. If you missed today or didn't finish, you have until 1:00 pm tomorrow to get the test done. I have to submit grades and I'll put in a zero or grade however much you did...
Thursday 15 - Today was a 1/2 day. We did community activities as a class. No homework and enjoy your winter break.
Friday 16 - No school - first day of winter break.

- I was born in Provo, Utah and my Dad was in the US Army until I was 17, so I lived in Germany, Virginia, California, Kansas, and Utah when I was younger. For my senior year of high school, my Dad retired from the military and moved us to the little town of Springville, Utah, where I graduated from high school in 1997. I went to Brigham Young University and majored in International Studies with a minor in Latin American Studies. I took two years off college to live in Ecuador and serve the people there. After graduating from college, I went to Flagstaff, Arizona and earned my Master's Degree in Latin American History in 2005. Since then I've been teaching Social Studies and Spanish in the Phoenix area. I moved to Tucson in July of 2009 to teach Middle School Spanish at the Academy of Tucson Middle School. I have been married for 10 years and I have two children - Jarom and Rebecca, who go to the Academy of Tucson Elementary School.
